Save the date for the year end banquet: March 23, 2018 from 6pm to 9pm!  The end of season SYHA Banquet (for squirts and up) will be held at the Welch Allyn Lodge.  More details to follow in the coming days…

We hope all of our players and parents are enjoying another great season of hockey here in Skaneateles, and are looking forward to upcoming tournaments and the JAMs.

I wanted to share some information about the SYHA board of directors, and how you can get involved.  The board is made up of 11 members who serve staggered 2-year terms. 

This year is we will have four (4) board positions up for election.  The election process will take place during our end of year banquet / annual meeting.  If you are interested in applying for a board position, please send me your contact information along with a short statement regarding why you would like to be elected to the board and any other information you feel is relevant.

The statements from all nominees will be provided in writing to the general membership at the annual meeting, and all SYHA members in good standing will have the opportunity to vote.  At the end of the meeting the votes will be tallied and new board members will be announced.

Please connect with any existing board member to discuss what is involved with participating on the board and the types of jobs that are spread across the directors.
